El 1° Concejo Deliberante de San Rafael surge el 6 de enero de 1876, en lo que hoy se conoce como Villa 25 de Mayo. Esta institución es de vital importancia para nuestro departamento ya que es el órgano representativo de todos los ciudadanos de San Rafael.
